Back home

Eeeek, it's soon time to go back to regular posting. The past couple of weeks have been different as I haven't been taking pictures in quite the same way, knowing I had a back log of posts to get through. As you can see I've kept my 30mm lens on the whole time since we got back from France. I think it makes everything look just that little bit nicer.
Happy Friday peeps!

  2. Happy Friday to you, as well. And welcome back...very thoughtful photographs. I love your film shots in the previous post, as well. I agree with you entirely...film just treats the subject with more familiarity than does, as I have found, digital. Very nice.

  3. marion: yes, yuuuuuum! thanks for the winter pics link!

celine: little mo was so sweet when we came back, she was more like a dog following us around everywhere and just wanting to be cuddled all the time. now she's so over us :)

I use the sigma 30mm 1.4 EX DC HSM, and a canon EFS 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM instead of the kit lens (which was awful). I also have a canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 USM which is the nuts and that I should be using instead of the EFS but it weighs a ton and is huge, so I hardly ever use it. I need to get a bigger camera bag, and maybe then I'll be happy to lug it around...

heather: thank you & glad you liked them!
